Today's Chivalry 2 gameplay video features the Warhammer. This Knight build weapon is also used along with the shield for extra protection. The downside is the weapon's limited range, which makes playing in third person difficult if you're not very familiar with how far it can reach — particularly when it comes to the stab animations.
In Chivalry 2, the Warhammer is a pretty basic weapon. It is what it is, essentially. We've all used a hammer before; imagine a slightly bigger hammer and that is what you're working with here. As a blunt weapon, it stops on hit, dealing extra damage (by percentage point) to heavy-armored opponents.
