TODAY'S GOSPEL: Mark 6:30-34
The Gospel this Sunday reminds us that sacrifice has always been part of our vow to share in Christ’s Cross and Resurrection. But when we contemplate on our sacrifices, we should know that these sacrifices should always be rooted in compassion. One of the most beautiful definitions of compassion said: “Compassion is our ability to enter the chaos of another person, and within that chaos, help that person make meaning of that situation. This is the compassion of Christ. May we also embody this compassion for our fellow brothers and sisters. Reflect on this as we celebrate the Kapamilya Sunday Mass today, July 18, 2021, with Father Tito Caluag.
