The Climate of South Asia can be divided into three basic kinds:
1- Tropical
2- Dry
3- Temperate.
The northeast is from tropical to substropical (Temperate). Moving west the moisture and elevation change, causing a steppe and Desert climate.
South Asian countrie's climate is based on native Vegetation, temperature, precipitation and their seasonality.
In South Asia, the monsoon season runs from June through September.
