Teachers' well-being is absolutely crucial—both to them and to the health of schools. There is only so much teachers themselves can do to preserve it, because other people's decisions impact their health, too. Leaders need to take responsibility and do what is best for teachers' health, not just in major decisions that are clearly health-related, but also in other decisions that don't seem health-related at first glance.
