Nine people injured as suspected gang attacks households in Likoni

9 people are nursing injuries after a gang of more than 40 raided Harambee and Misufini villages in Likoni last night.
According to the victims, the gang which was armed with machetes took control of the two villages a few minutes past 8pm. They attacked the residents by slashing some on their heads and hands using a machete. Most of the gang members are said to have youth aged between 14 to 21. According to coast region police commander munase Musyoka 6 suspects have been arrested and are currently assisting police in the ongoing investigations. Residents of likoni have also asked police to increase patrols at night especially some few hours before the curfew kicks in.
