Patient from Kyrgyzstan with large tumor in liver had undergone through successful liver transplant

Mr. Samarbek from Kyrgyzstan had a very large liver tumor. The tumor blocked his Inferior Vena Cava and also caused inability to eat properly, which further lead to loss of muscle mass and body weight. Due to the large size of the tumor, some hospitals in Moscow and Turkey refused to do any surgery.
The Liver Transplant team at Jaypee Hospital, Noida took the challenge. With the support of Cardio-Thoracic surgery team they did the transplant successfully.
The patient had recovered well. Both patient and donor have gone back to their own country and leading normal life.
