
Recently, there is steep rise in viral or as we call seasonal flu cases having symptoms like cold, cough, fever, bodyache. Following list of medicines can be safely taken by adults at Home before visiting a doctor:
1. Dolo 650/Crocin/Metacin/Calpol (They all contain Paracetamol as the molecule) - For Fever/Bodyache/Headache (Can be taken three times a day)
2. Tab Levocet/ Montair LC/Levocet M - For Cold/Running Nose (Can be taken twice a day)
3. Syrup Grilinctus - For Cough (10ml can be taken three times a day)
4. Strepsils - For sore throat
5. Nasivion/Otrivin nasal spray - For blocked nose
Avoid taking antibiotics like Mox, erythromycin, Azithromycin, Zifi without guidance of a doctor which will cause many issues in long time.
