2 Kg Gold Ornaments Theft Offender Arrested By Punjagutta Police

On 03-09-2021 the Crime Team of Panjagutta Police apprehended Two accused persons and recovered the Gold Ornaments i.e. Bracelets and chains weg. About 2052.980 grams worth Rs. 1 Crore.

A-2 Pravin Kumar, S/o Narayan Lal, age 31 yrs, R/o Main Road village Galthani, Dist Pali,
Jawai Bandh thana (Rly. Stn), Rajastan-306126, Cell: 9549642408, 9660680045.
(The accused personsare arrested on 03-09-2021 and being produced before the Hon’ble XIV ACMM Court for judicial remand)

Cr.No.405/2021, U/sec.379, 381 IPC of PS Panjagutta, P.S. Hyderabad.

Brief facts of the case are that on 26-08-2021 at 1125 hrs re-registered a zero FIR, which was received from Saifabad Police Station Hyderabad City in Cr.No. 0- 3/2021 U/s 379 IPC, complaint given by Shravan Kumar Gehlot S/o Late Mohan Lalji Gehlot, Age: 54 year, Occu: Ranuja Jewelers R/o H.No.149, Bherumal House, office No. 308, 3rd Floor Zaveri Bazar, Mumbai Cell No.9821331023 in which he stated that he was supplying gold ornaments at Hyderabad City since 07 years, to the needy Jewellery shops in and around Hyderabad City through his employees by marketing the sample designs. As Usually on 08-23-2021 his employee by name 1) Mr Gulab Mali S/o Bhika Ramji, age: 32 years, R/o Virar, Mumbai, working since 10 years & 2) Mr Mukesh Parihar S/o Ramesh Parihar, age 34 years R/o Mumbai, who is his nephew looking after his business and visiting to Hyderabad for first time by carrying the Gold Ornaments i.e. Gold Chains & Bracelet total weighing about 2122.130 grams for marketing at Hyderabad ie, in Ameerpet, Abids, Charminar, Secunderabad. On 22-08-2021 Mr Gulab Mali has booked travel tickets to Hyderabad for Mr Gulab Mali & Mr Mukesh Parihar and on 23-08-2021 at 04.30 PM boarded a Travel Bus i.e. Jabbar Travels Sleeper Class Bus bearing No.NL-01B -1929 at Chunnabhati, Sion, Mumbai. The Gold ornaments are carrying by Mr Gulab Mali with his safe jacket from him. On 24-08-2021 at about 08:30 AM received a call from his nephew Mr Mukesh Parihar informing that the Gold Ornaments carrying by Mr Gulab Mali was missing from his Safe jacket noticed while the bus was stopped at Ameerpet junction and the passengers getting down from bus, further he also informed that the matter was informed to Bus cleaner and searched at all possible places, but in vain. Then, he asked his nephew Mr. Mukesh Parihar to take shelter at Lodge and he was also leaving to Hyderabad. Immediately, he rushed to Hyderabad through Air, and verified about the incident and taken support to local Hyderabad known persons who suggested us file a Police Case tor recovery of Gold Ornaments. Therefore he requested to take necessary action as per law & facts and recovery of Gold Ornaments.

Modus Operandi:
The Accused A-1 Gulab Mali has been working at Ranuja Jewellers, Zaveri Bazar, Mumbai, Maharashtra State since 10 yrs as a salesman. He used to collect Gold Ornaments from his owner Shravan at Mumbai and will sell at various Jewellery Shops in Hyderabad. He invested huge money in MCX trading and loosed the money. His income was not sufficient to his lavish desires, so he hatched a plan to commit theft of Gold ornaments and explained to his friend A-2 Pravin Kumar to which A-2 has accepted. Asusual on 23-08-2021 A-1 and colleague Mukesh collected 3336 grams of Gold Ornaments (Neck Chains & Bracelets) from Mumbai and boarded a Jabbar Travels Bus from Mumbai to Hyderabad. As per their plan A-2 also boarded the same bus from Borvelli, Mumbai for Pune city without taking the ticket and A-1 handed over the Gold Ornaments to A-2 and has taken 3 sleeping pills. When he woke-up at Ameerpet at 8.30 A.M. on 24-08-2021. A-1 pretended as someone has stolen his Gold ornaments bag from him while he was in deep sleep. Later A-2 has mortgaged69.150 grams of Gold ornaments at ICICI Bank, Sumerpur Branch, Sheon Gunj for Rs.2,06,136/- and spent the amount for their lavish desires.
