Here are a sequence of images to show you the propagation technique for Whip and tongue grafting. I've added a time lapse of the successful grafting where you see the buds bursting through the protective wax and open into flowers. The time lapse was filmed over a period of 30 days. I made the sequence for the students studying the RHS course at Waterperry Gardens near Oxford.
I hope this illustrated time lapse is useful to RHS and other horticultural students.
