In August, 4E Healing Hearts Inc gifted Auggie, a TRAINED DIABETIC ALERT, dog to Brody, a college student at Texas A&M, with Type 1 Diabetes.
Brody was diagnosed T1D four years ago and since then has advocated in the diabetes community as a delegate for JDRF's Children's Congress in 2019, as well as volunteering at One Walk and Summit. Brody also volunteered as a study participant for the Janssen T1GER study and extension from 2017-2020 to help further diabetes research in the hope that all diabetics would one day have a cure.
