Today 8th September 2021 we see the entire Crypto market down due to what some say is market manipulation. News of El Salvador excepting Bitcoin as legal tender has been flooding the Crypto news and apparently has also had a major effect on the market as well.
I am of the opinion that a Cryptocurrency such as Bitcoin should not be used to purchase everyday items such as a pizza or coffee, it should be used as a store of value that will only go up in time. Cathy Woods from Ark Invest herself says that Bitcoin will eventually hit $1,000,000 in value. So, in my opinion, a coffee worth $3.50 at Starbucks paid with Bitcoin could in the future be worth $350.00 which is crazy to believe. This has been seen in the past with people purchasing Pizza for 10 Bitcoin.
Regardless I am not concerned about today's market movements as I keep mentioning in all my videos I dollar-cost average into my blue-chip Cryptocurrencies such as XRP (Ripple), VeChain (VET), XDC (XinFin), XLM (Stellar), HBAR (Hedera), Reef Token, XYO and of course Bitcoin as I believe it will only go up in value over time. Each week I set myself an amount to invest and I stick with this amount every week slowly building up my Crypto Portfolio.
