You might be wondering that why would God work for your sake? For one, God is your father and if He went to the length of giving up His only begotten son for your sake, what more could be difficult for him to do for you? There's no mountain He wouldn't upturn for you, no waters he wouldn't cross to reach you. You are that special to Him, the apple of His eyes, the one whom He has set His love on. As a father, he wants to make sure that things go smoothly for you. He wants to prepare the way ahead and smoothen every rough patch on your path. He is working to see that you have victory in all areas of your life, that you are not defeated or downcast. You just have to open your eyes and heart to see Him at work on your behalf. Philippians 2:13 tells us that He is the one that works in us both to will and do His good pleasure. Philippians 1:6 also says that God will complete every good work that he has begun in us. Bringing you into salvation is just the beginning of the work God is doing in your life. He is also ensuring that every other thing concerning your life is perfected as well.
You can't keep getting worked over things that God has settled. It doesn't work out that way. God wants you to enter into His rest, a rest that is meant for only true believers. Why is this so? It's because he has finished all of his works from the foundation of the earth. Your life and destiny have been set out even before you were born or conceived. God already wrote out your story and all that is left is to bring those plans into reality. Now, you need to understand that you are complete, in Christ, you have all things. In Christ, you get rest from the troubles of this life and you can rest assured that God is doing something on your behalf. However, you can only access these things through faith in God and his works. And all the works of Christ were completed on the cross. When he said, it is finished, he means it is finished. Your sickness, sorrow, pains, and troubles are over because Christ took it all upon Himself. Yet, he still working through the Holy Spirit to help us understand how he has given us victory over all the circumstances that we seem to be faced with and help us live the kind of life that God wants for us. In entering into God's rest for us, it doesn't mean we become idle and expect things to work out automatically for us. There is a place for labor but your labor should not be a pointless struggling or hustling from day to day without results. The following are the various ways through which God works overtime for your sake.
He fights your battles: There are many unseen battles that we are faced with from day today. We only see the physical troubles that we have to go through and are most times, ignorant of the devil and his agents and spiritual forces that seek to take out our lives and bring us under. God is omnipresent and His eyes are all over watching to see that his children are protected wherever they go. He sends His angels from time to time to watch over us and keep us from stumbling. Psalm 91:11-12 says He will give His angels charge over you to keep you in all your ways and they will bear you up in their hands so you don't dash your feet against a stone. Even if you didn't realize it before, you should know now that you are not the one keeping yourself.
We don’t always have people in our lives who can inspire us to follow our dreams. Fortunately, we can reflect on the wise words of others, and these ideas can serve as teachers that motivate us to chase after our goals and desires.
You have to chase your dreams, no matter what. The impossible just takes a little longer. One stroke at a time, one step at a time, the impossible is easy to achieve.
