We all have our favorite heroes from movies and TV shows whether they be loveable goofballs, inspiring team leaders, or even your more borderline anti-heroes. But not every famous TV or movie hero started off that way, and sometimes in the early drafts, were actually seen as the antagonist. Sometimes it is just down to changes during the development stage and sometimes it's down to the actors cast for the role, with them being so good that the writers and directors decided to turn them into the good guys.
In this video we will take a look at 10 characters from both TV and movies who were never intended to be the hero, but were instead meant to be the primary antagonist. From a whole family of animated entrepreneurs originally intended to be cannibals, a loveable side character initially being a major douchebag, the main hero of a story meant to be an evil ice queen, a beloved Pixar character killing his best bud in brutal fashion in an early draft, a cuddly eccentric intended to be a sinister antagonist, to one of the most well known and kindhearted childrens' characters meant to be a troubled wild child who died at a young age. Get ready to see your favorite characters in a whole new light, as we take a look at their shady pasts before they were the good guys!
