How to Pick the Right Fabric: Go Fabric Shopping for Seamwork Ryan & Larkin

In this video: Haley goes over the fabric choices for the Seamwork Ryan T-shirt and the Larkin bomber jacket. Learn what to look for when choosing fabric and how to apply them to your own projects.

Ryan T-shirt pattern: https://www.seamwork.com/catalog/ryan
- Medium weight knit fabrics with at least 25% of 2-way stretch, such as cotton jersey, bamboo/soy jersey blends, rip knit, and interlock knit.

Larkin bomber jacket pattern: https://www.seamwork.com/catalog/larkin
- Main fabric: Medium to heavy weight woven fabrics such as canvas, denim, twill, duck cloth, corduroy, suitings, linen blends, and satin.
- Lining fabric: Light to medium weight lining fabrics such as cotton sateen, cotton flannel, silk habotai, rayon bemberg, acetate lining, or polyester lining.
- Rib trim: Medium to heavyweight ribbing that is at least 5 1/4" (13.5 cm) wide. Look for ribbing with spandex or lycra for best recovery.
