Rishi Sunak has asked for out of date figures to be used for the economic modelling. This would actually mean making the British economy look weaker than it really is. Counter-productive for a sitting Chancellor, isn't it? But the plan is apparently to create a low base for comparison in late 2022, so that he can claim a better economic performance for a possible election in 2023. But what's his real plan?
