This wild tusker is frequently cited in one of the heritage sites in down south adjoining the Yala wildlife Sanctuary. The chief incumbent of this temple is used to feeding the wild elephant daily as a usual routing of the priest. The wild tusker is used to come on time for his feed daily and idles for some time before getting back to the sanctuary, and are much loved by the devotees who come to the temple daily. This big tusker is used to be fed by devotees too as well and the animal assumes that all the vehicle's which comes to the temple, brings him the necessities with this intention the elephant peeps in the vehicle of the department of the wild life officers, who comes to the temple of an inspection tour as a duty of the department.
