Jackal Vs Seal
These jackals chase a seal on the beach, but the seal manages to get into the water before they can snatch him. He is lucky this time. Down the beach, another pup is under attack, and he’s outnumbered. One jackal bites the throat while the others attack its body. The four jackals have won, but the others try to get their share. The smell of death draws more hungry jackals and creates a feeding frenzy. Jackal Hunting Gazelle Fawn
These two jackals are hunting and devouring a baby gazelle while its mother tries in vain to save it. You can see the mother gazelle doing everything in her power to save her baby, and I feel for her, but it’s game over. This occurred during a safari in Kenya's Masai Mara National Park. These two jackals hunt a young Thomson’s gazelle and I’m kind of surprised the gazelle doesn’t fight more. She kind of falls to the ground while the jackals tear flesh from her body. With flesh hanging from her behind, she finally wakes up and tries to fight, but it’s too late. Why didn’t the gazelle charge the jackals when she wasn’t injured. I have seen gazelles fight harder against lions and leopards. Two jackals are trying to cut open gazelles rear-end when the gazelle finds itself on the ground.
The jackals are small, but they’re tenacious and will make this a successful hunt. After taking down Thomsen’s gazelle.
