November 21, 2021 One person was killed Sunday night while crossing Pacific Ave. There is no crosswalk and the intersection. A crosswalk is a block to the north of 160th. Central Pierce Fire and Rescue responded and confirmed the deceased. Pierce County Sheriff Deputies are assisting Washington State Patrol Troopers with the investigation. Northbound Pacific has remained open. South bound will remain closed during the investigation.
