The games between Alabama and Georgia in both 2007 and 2017 had eerily similar endings. The 2017 national championship matchup between the two SEC teams ended with Alabama missing a 36 yard field goal, sending the game to overtime tied at 20-20. Then in overtime Georgia hit a field goal before Alabama's Tua Tagovailoa answered with the game winning 41 yard touchdown pass to win the game 26-23. The 2007 regular season matchup ended with Georgia missing a 47 yard field goal attempt, sending the game to overtime tied at 20-20. Then in overtime Alabama made a field goal, before Georgia's Mathew Stafford answered with the game winning 25 yard touchdown pass to win the game 26-23. It is hard to deny that the endings are eerily similar when watching them back to back as they are presented in the video.
