What side of the resurrection do you act like you live on?
In Acts 2 the Spirit of Jesus shows up and Jesus people are never the same. Fear gives way to faith and the DNA of the disciples gets rewritten. These people who were nowhere to be found, silent at Jesus trial and hiding behind locked doors… begin to bleed boldness.
When theologians pick a singular word to describe the personality of the post resurrection early church, its: Boldness.
It doesn’t matter the situation or setting. It’s Boldness. In freedom, under pressure, in a crowd, on trial…boldness.
When you cut them, Jesus people bleed boldness.
When life cuts you what do you bleed? What comes out?
What is core to who you are? What is your DNA?
What side of the resurrection do you act like you live on?
Subdued in fear on Friday or Bold in faith on Sunday?
The resurrection of Jesus & the Spirit of Jesus demands that Jesus people, bleed boldness.
