Caspin Resources’ Greg Miles and Proactive’s Elisha Newell talk through the latest assays from reverse circulation (RC) drilling at the Serradella prospect at the company’s Yarawindah Brook Project in WA. Miles explains the potential for a significant nickel, copper and platinum group element (PGE) deposit and how this prospect emerged as a priority target since the discovery of mineralisation in February. He says from the minimal results received so far, it is the greatest metal accumulation found in a hole to date from a really large step out. From these results, Caspin can build a geological model that points it toward the better mineralisation. The Caspin CEO highlights the company’s belief that this part of the Yarabrook Intrusion is a distinctly different, and more prospective, geological setting to Central Yarabrook Hill, which had, up until recently, been the main focus of its exploration. While there are still plenty of assays to come, the company now has enough data for its next round of drilling. Finally, Miles highlights the potential of the entire region Caspin is exploring and updates on drilling at Mt Squires.
