Queen's coffin arrives in Westminster Hall for lying-in-state

The Queen’s coffin arrived at the Palace of Westminster on Wednesday after a procession from Buckingham Palace.

The coffin was placed on the catafalque with a short service held by the archbishop of Canterbury. After a service, the Queen’s lying in state began. It will last for four days and end on the morning of the state funeral on 19 September.
