Cognitive Challenge: Ineffective Learning Strategies
In this video, I discuss the cognitive challenge of ineffective learning strategies. Students use a variety of methods to learn and remember new information. These vary in their effectiveness and efficiency. Students often prefer the least effective learning strategies which impairs their learning. I explore how teachers can help students identify and adopt more effective strategies to improve their learning.
