ABSOLUTELY AWESOME 1913 Otis Hand Crank Operated Elevator - Temple Theater - Des Moines, IA

This is the service elevator at the Temple Theater in Des Moines, Iowa.

This was installed in 1913 when the Masonic Temple was built. In 2002, the building was restored, involving the modernization of the other elevator.

This elevator was a bit finicky, it wouldn't always respond to my up signals, however it responded to down just fine. Either way, it's an amazing elevator.

Oh also, after I ended the video I was yelled at for riding the service elevator, however, it was worth it.
