This caterpillar seems to be marooned on a barbed wire fence. So our cameraperson moved it onto a leaf which it could chew down on...

What steady focus and concentration, this caterpillar chows down on a ginger leaf, meticulously trying to finish the leaf and damage the plan, to ensure its own existence! What species of caterpillar would this be? A butterfly one, perhaps? Filmed in the monsoon season in September 2021.
