lucknow, jagran correspondent. it will now be easier for the steel industry to move hot rolled and cold rolled steel from one city to another at a faster pace. the goods train will be able to run at a speed of 100 kmph with 4,000 tonnes of steel in each rake. research design and standards organisation (rdso) has developed a high capacity bfnw wagon. 69.6 tonnes of hot rolled and cold rolled steel can be borne per wagon. railways are now working towards increasing the speed and carrying capacity of freight trains to increase their share in freight.
