
New Line Cinema announced plans for an American remake of Train to Busan back at the start of 2021 and many had objections to the idea, myself included. I just wanted to have a discussion about how western cinema has a history of butchering overseas classics and inserting unrelated big names to maximize box office revenue, but not focus on the film's longevity and impact.
