This video will show you how we setup our internet gear in the RV. This has allowed us to explore and go anywhere we desire in our camping adventures. School? Work? No problem!!
1. Peplink Classic BR1
I purchased a legacy model "new but open box" from eBay for about $200...score! You can purchase brand new for around $600. If I did it again, I would go with the Class BR1 MK2 model which has 2G/5G WiFi and some other added features.

2. WeBoost Connect RV 65
This thing has been great. This was our first investment even before our first trailer purchase. We rented a few trailers first, and I carried this pole with us. It has definitely saved the day for school/work purposes when we are out in the middle of no where.

3. Mobile Cell Provider Plan - Visible.com
I use www.visible.com which is under the Verizon network. It's a flat fee of $40/mo, but if you join a party plan of 4 or more (check Facebook) then you pay $25/mo. So...I ONLY pay $25 a month for internet. It's a rate limit of 5Mb down and up, but that is good enough for my work and school purposes. Must activate in normal phone first using Visible app.
Note: If you do big file uploads and downloads, then you will want to look into different mobile plans...or multiple. Or Startlink!!

4. Klein Coax Cable Tester
This thing is great! Place a color cap onto one end of the coaxial cable or port, then plug the tool into the other end. Makes finding the matching end super easy. I was able to trace out my coaxial cable/satellite ports to determine which one I can use for direct connection into the WeBoost. Using the ports, I can avoid having to go through a window or door. Bonus!

5. Coax Caps
Most RVs have some type of rubber cap over the cable and satellite ports. Those eventually deteriorate in the sun and become sticky. I removed the rubber caps and replaced them with these small coax caps. Much better!

6. Web Sites to Find Cell Towers
I use a few sites to check for towers, and I usually do this BEFORE we leave our house. That way I have reliable internet to look for towers before I happen to be in the middle of no where possibly :)

7. Peplink Forum
I used this page when trying to find answers to make my Visible+Peplink setup work. There are other great discussions on the forum, and you get really get into the weeds with some of the settings. Have fun...but don't get lost!
