Yet more stunning images from the Lower Mainland after a rolled over truck was discovered today half submerged in the Yarrow sector of Abbotsford. This is one of the numerous shocking sights of the devastation the recent floods in British Columbia, Canada have caused. Elements of the earth wreaked havoc for the past three weeks in Southern BC where four people died as a tragic result of what is now called one of the worst natural disasters in Canadian history. Today, crews stumbled upon the remains of a truck from which the driver lost sight of the road due to water accumulation. The rural squared network of roads that form the Sumas Prairie are narrow, one lane each way and made of a 2 meter ditch on each side. The truck apparently drifted away from the now invisible painted lines to finish its course sinking in the submerged ditch. Fortunately no one was hurt in this incident.
